All rights reserved. ************************************************ Dottie Zell Smith - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, April 1, 2006 TALLULAH - Services for Dottie Zell Smith were this morning at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Mrs. Smith died Friday, March 31, 2006, at Summet Retirement Center in Alexandria. She was 93. Born in Pollock, La., Mrs. Smith had lived in Alexandria for seven years. Living most of her life in Madison and Richland Parishes, Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Tallulah. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Kathryn Russell of Alvin, Texas, and Lorraine Simmons of Alexandria; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and other nieces and nephews. Crothers-Glenwood had charge of the arrangements.
