All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Eleanor Crothers Smith - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, April 28, 1983 Graveside services for Mrs. Eleanor Crothers Smith, 76, were held Saturday in the Calhoun Cemetery with the Rev. Terry Xxxxx officiating. Bural was under the direction Xxxner Funeral Home of Ferriday. Mrs. Smith died April 21 at Concordia Parish Hospital in Ferriday after a long illness. She was a native of Tallulah and a longtime resident of Ferriday and had retired from the Houston Independent School System. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Kelley Crothers Brown of Natchez, Miss.; one brother, Brenham Calhoun Crothers of Ferriday; and two grandsons. Pallbearers were Albert Crothers, David Crothers, Scott Moreland, Sid Moreland, Mike Turner, Billy Rucker, Phillip Crothers and Richard Serio.
