Smith and Mrs. Essie Lea Smith, 62, were Wednesday at Crothers Funeral Home with the Revs. Xxxx Bell and Crawford Williams officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Smiths died Feb. 16 in an accident in Puerto Rico. Mr. Smith was a native of Xxxxxd and lived in Tallulah for 35 years and was the owner of Smith Electrical Service and a member of Pine Haven Baptist Church of Columbus, Miss. Mrs. Smith was a native of Xxxxxxn and was a resident of Tallulah for 35 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Pine Haven Baptist Church of Columbus, Miss. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs Sherrie Smith Rich of Jonesboro and Mrs. Sallie Smith Duchesne of Bedford, Texas; Mr. Smith's brother, Osgood Smith of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. ; Mr. Smith's three sisters, Mrs. R.L. Baxter of Ludowici, Ga., Mrs. Marvin James of Lake Worth, Fla., and Mrs. Marcus May of Pembrooke, Ga.; Mrs. Smith's four sisters, Mrs. Luther Dunaway and Mrs. Robley Baudoin, both of Franklinton, Mrs. Eva Tham and Mrs. Walter Abadi, both of Baton Rouge and three grandchildren.
