All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Ella Smith - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, June 7, 1963 Services For Mrs. Smith Held In Hattiesburg Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Smith, 96, were held Wednesday at 2 P. M. in Rhama Baptist Church near Hattiesburg, Miss, with the Rev. Bobby Brown of Tallulah officiating. Burial will be in the Rhama Cemetery, under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah. Mrs. Smith died recently In a Greenwell Springs hospital, following a lengthy illness. A native of Natchez, Miss., she had resided in Tallulah for the past 23 years. She was a member of Rhama Baptist Church. Survivors are three sons, Homer Smith of Bogue Chitto, Miss, Steve Smith of Jackson, and Frank Smith of Hattiesburg; three daughters, Mrs. Neal Cupit, Tallulah, Mrs. Delton Hart of Bogue Chitto, and Mrs. T. H. Jenkins of Winnsboro; 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and five great, great grandchildren.
