All rights reserved. ************************************************ Minnie Zula Smith - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post June 2, 2002 TALLULAH - Minnie Zula Smith died Friday, May 31, 2002, at Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro, La. She was 89. Mrs. Smith was born in Baskin, La., and had lived in Madison Parish for more than 55 years. She was a homemaker and member of Flowers Landing Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence "Tint" Smith, and two sons, Clinton Max Smith and James Edward Smith. Survivors include a son, Kenneth J. Smith of Tallulah; four daughters, Barbara Ann Watson and Glyn Lawson, both of Monroe, Jerry Richardson of St. Joseph and Fae Holloway of Baskin; and 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Pallbearers will be Bubba Richardson, Bo Holloway, Jamie Smith, Wade Hargrave, Brad Smith and Ben Lawson. Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Skeen, John Lawrence, Austin Richardson, Max Richardson, Kenny Lawson, Chad Hargrave, Blake Smith, Clinton Hargrave and Michael Peeler.
