All rights reserved. *********************************************************************************************** Pearl Barrett (Smith) - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Monroe News-Star November 27, 1972 TALLULAH — Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday for Mrs. Pearl Barrett, 81, of Tallulah, who died Sunday at Madison Parish Hospital after a long illness. The Rev. John David Corley will officiate at Crothers Funeral Home here with burial in Silver Cross Cemetery. Mrs. Barrett, a native of Humphries County, Tenn., had lived in Madison Parish for 60 years and was a member of the Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Lucian Barrett of Tallulah; two sons, Dr. Edward Cecil Smith of Morgan Town, W. Va., and T. A. Smith Jr. of Tallulah; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
