All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Tommie Smith - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, November 24, 1987 Funeral services for Mr. Tommie Smith, 88, were held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Crothers Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Willis officiating. Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Smith died Wednesday night in the Madison Parish Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mr. Smith was a native of Georgetown, Miss., a retired farmer and a member of the Baptist faith. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Kate Andrews of Luling, Tex.; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Virgil Neumann, Chester Deggans, Ronald Everett, Ray Jobe, Tilford Watts and Jerry Word.
