ROY SNIDER, FORMER TALLULAH RESIDENT, DIES Mrs. Roy Snider, age 21, died Friday, January 20, at her home at Gibsland, La. She had lived in Tallulah about fifteen months when Mr. Snider was employed by the Coca Cola company here. They moved to Gibsland in May where he is agent for the Louisiana Oil Refining company. Mrs. Snider was a graduate of the Normal at Natchitoches, and prior to coming to Tallulah, taught school at Castor, La., and Bienville, La. During her residence here she was active in the affairs of the Baptist church, of which she was a member, and during that time made many friends in this part of the state who will regret to learn of her death. She was Miss Mary Bogan before her marriage to Roy D. Snider at Arcadia in May, 1930. Besides her husband, surviving her are an infant son, Billy Roy, born January 14, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Bogan, two brothers, and three sisters. The remains were buried in a cemetery at Bienville, Saturday afternoon.
