All rights reserved. ************************************************ Arthur Edward Sparling - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, June 17, 2006 TALLULAH - Arthur Edward Sparling died Friday, June 16, 2006, at Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah. He was 78. Born in Little Rock, Ark., Mr. Sparling was a resident of Tallulah. Having graduated from Louisiana State University of Law and Naval Justice Schools, he served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of the Law Review and Gamma Eta Gamma. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary Sparling; and a sister, Nancy Sparling Burkhardt. Survivors include two nephews, Charles Burkhardt of Starkville and Richard Burkhardt of Columbus; and other relatives, including E.C. Burkhardt of Vicksburg. Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah
