(AP) Funeral services were scheduled here today for Mason Spencer, former Louisiana state representative and political associate of the late Huey P. Long. Spencer died Tuesday after his 70th birthday, of a heart attack. He represented Madison Parish in the state legislature during the administrations of Gov. Henry L. Fuqua, Long and Oscar K. Allen. He announced his candidacy for governor in 1935, but withdrew before the election.
