He was born March 22, 1959 in Tallulah, LA to the late G.B. Stamey Jr. and Mary Francis Ganger Stamey Benefield. Services will be 5:00 PM Wednesday August 16, 2017 at United Funeral Service with Bro. William Carpenter officiating. Burial will be at Enterprise Cemetery. United Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Lou Grose Stamey; step father, Dewaine Benefield; two daughters, Brittney Hargett (Kevin) and Charlie Jumper (Cody); four sisters, Mary Ann Smith, Pat Bagwell, Ruth Williams, and Bobbi Smith; two grandchildren, Georgana Hargett and Angela Albino; and a great grandchild, Justin Albino. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 5:00 PM Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at United Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be Kevin Hargett, Cody Jumper, Cade Albino, Jacky Smith, Cody Williams and George Nolley. Honorary pallbearers will be Jackie Rodgers, Rodger Porter, Kenny Bagwell, Grover Jennings and Bo Williams.
