Stennett Sr. died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2005, at Olive Branch Senior Care Center in Tallulah. He was 89. Born in Pineville, Miss., Mr. Stennett had lived in Tallulah for five years. He was a retired oilfield production foreman. He is survived by two sons, Leonard Thomas Stennett of Thibodaux, La., and John W. Stennett Jr. of Temple, Texas. Services were at 10 a.m. today at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. John W. Rushing officiating. Burial followed at Silver Cross Cemetery.
