Funeral Services Held Saturday for Mr. Stewart

Funeral Services for Wade Hampton Stewart, 86, who died at his home in the Stockland Community near here 
Friday after a long illness, were held at 10 a.m. last Saturday at Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with the 
Rev. John Hurt officiating. Burial followed in Stewart Cemetery at Gibsland at 2:30 p.m.

He was a native of Bienville Parish, had resided in Madison Parish for the past 30 years and was a farmer.

He is survived by his widow Mrs. Alma Stewart; two sons Frank Stewart and Ernest Stewart,
both of Tallulah: four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Pete Russell, Clinton Givens, W. J. Wilson.
