All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Wade Hampton Stewart - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, May 27, 1966 Funeral Services Held Saturday for Mr. Stewart Funeral Services for Wade Hampton Stewart, 86, who died at his home in the Stockland Community near here Friday after a long illness, were held at 10 a.m. last Saturday at Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Hurt officiating. Burial followed in Stewart Cemetery at Gibsland at 2:30 p.m. He was a native of Bienville Parish, had resided in Madison Parish for the past 30 years and was a farmer. He is survived by his widow Mrs. Alma Stewart; two sons Frank Stewart and Ernest Stewart, both of Tallulah: four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Pete Russell, Clinton Givens, W. J. Wilson.
