(Lum) Storey, Sr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal December 4, 1996 Services for Mr. C. M. (Lum) Storey, Sr., 78, of Tallulah were held Monday, December 2, 1996 at the First Baptist Church, Tallulah, Reverend John Rushing officiating. Burial was at Legion Cemetery in Newellton. Mr. Storey died after a brief illness on November 30 at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. Survivors include his wife, Juanita Fugua Storey; one son and daughter-in-law, Lum and Judy Storey of Tallulah; one daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Jon Worley of Bossier City; four grandchildren, Natalie and Beth Storey and Ron and Jon Worley; three sisters, Edith Pope of Newellton, Connie Ramsey of Vidalia, and Charlynne Guidry of Lake Charles; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Storey was born in Longstreet, and was an honored veteran of World War II. A long time resident and businessman of Tallulah, he was a member of the First Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church's building fund. Pallbearers were: Cecil Ramsey, Jimmy Storey, Charles Michael Finlayson, Spencer Sevier, Charles Weeks, and Kolan Ray. Honorary pallbearers were Twigg Bishop, Albert Lowery, Fred Ramsey, Jr., James Stroud, Leland Walters and A. C. Ray.
