Funeral services for Mr. Earl Wayne Stutts, age 71, will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, October 11, 2021, at First Baptist Church in Tallulah, Louisiana, with Bro. Robin Cox and Bro. Robbie Simmons officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow the funeral service in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah.

Wayne, a resident of Tallulah, passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, Louisiana. He was born December 11, 1949, to Floyd and Mildred Dawson Stutts. He was a 1967 graduate of Pioneer High School. He served his country in the U. S. Army. He was a retired Captain from the Madison Parish Sheriff's Office and served as the K-9 Deputy with his buddy, Marco, by his side. He was currently employed at Collins Farms. He was an active member of the Tallulah Masonic Lodge.

Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Mildred Stutts; sister and brother-in-law, Virgina and Wendell Sellers; and his loving son, Vince Stutts.

Wayne leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 49 years, Susan Stutts; two daughters, Jami Stutts of Tallulah, Louisiana, and Kim Donham and husband Brian, of Lake Charles, Louisiana; three grandsons, Cameron and Landry Donham of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Dylan Vogel of Tallulah, Louisiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Curt Collins, Dave Collins, Gary Vogel, Dylan Vogel, Landry Donham, Cameron Donham, Samone Davis, and Quintin Purvis. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Wright, Jimmy Hynum, Joshua Collins, Luke Fortenberry, Alvin Sharp, Justin Arbuckle, Johnny Grigsby, and Neal Horath.
