All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Gladys Summerlin - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, August 4, 1977 Funeral services for Mrs. Gladys Summerlin, 81, of Tallulah were held at 10 a.m. Monday at Trinity Episcopal Church here with Father Joel Treadwell officiating. Graveside services were at 12:30 p.m. at McGehee Cemetery in McGehee, Ark. with burial under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah. Mrs. Summerlin died Friday at Mercy Medical Center in Vicksburg, after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Van Buren, Ark., a resident of Tallulah for the past six years, a retired music teacher and a member of the Tallulah Presbyterian Church. Survivors include two sons, William Morley of Alexandria and Kirk Morley of Tallulah; one daughter, Mrs. James Williams of Richmond, Va.; one stepson, Judge Dean Morley of Little Rock, Ark.; one sister, Mrs. Harry R. Wood of Fort Smith, Ark.; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Harvey Mounger, Kirk S. Morley, Dean Mosley, Louis Buckner, Hoff Shackleford and Homer Rudy.
