Tarver - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, November 27, 1985 Services for Bunion W. Tarver, 75, were at 2 p.m. Sunday at Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Howard officiating. Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery of Tallulah. He died Thursday at the Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah after a long illness. He was a native of Olla, a resident of Tallulah for 31 years, a retired farmer, a member of the Willow Bayou Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Avis Tarver of Tallulah; three sons, Norman Tarver,Robert Tarver, Carl Tarver of Tallulah; three daughters, Mrs. Jean Stuart of Transylvania, Mrs. Barbara Mathews of Clifton Forge, Va., Mary Westmoreland of Tallulah; one brother, William Tarver of Bossier City; two sisters, Mrs. Mittie Joiner of Winnsboro, Mrs. Avis Duplissey of Columbia; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jimmy Waldrop, Artie Skeldon, Lloyd Moore, Billy Tryon, Floyd Wall, Charles Smith.
