Taylor - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, September 29, 1983 Services for Johnnie M. Taylor were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Crothers Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev. Larry Xxxxxx officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery n Tallulah. Mr. Taylor died Monday in Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah after a long illness. He was a native of Cheniere and a resident of Tallulah past 53 years. He was a machinist and yard xxxxx for Chicago Mill and Co. in Tallulah. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dell B. Taylor; two daughters, Mrs. Sue Rodgers and Mrs. Sandra Ziegler, both of Tallulah; a brother, Robert A. Taylor of West Monroe; five sisters, Mrs. Maude Irvin, Mrs. Bell Kaiser of Dallas, Mrs. Hattie McDaniels, Mrs. Ruth McCaskle and Mrs. Holly Lipsey, all of West Monroe; three grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Lloyd T. Erwin, Thomas Miller, Clyde Miller, Ray Caldwell, W. E. "Sonny" Copes and Donald Collins.
