Taylor - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal October 20, 1993 Funeral services for Mrs. Maggie E. Taylor; 75, were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charley Joe Green officiating. Burial was at Silver Cross Cemetery. Mrs. Taylor died Wednesday, Oct. 13 at the Madison Parish Hospital. She was a native of Arkansas and had lived in Madison Parish for 55 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Mound Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, Leroy M. Taylor of Tallulah, Nolan Taylor of Delta and Frank Taylor of Lake Providence; three daughters, Estelle Meadows of Vicksburg and Barbara Reece and Dora Burris, both of Tendal; two sisters, Wilma Brekeen of Brandon, Miss. and Katie Mae Tony of Florida; two brothers, Robert Ivy of San Antonio, Thx. and Ray Ivy of Lufkin, Tex.; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Leon Secrest, Ray Goings, Stevie Sykes, Jack Taylor; Robert Miracle and Norman Ratcliff. Grandsons served as honorary pallbearers.
