All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Claude Thompson Sr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal February 2, 1994 Funeral services for Mr. Claude Thompson Sr., 62, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David McGuffee officiating. Burial was at Silver Cross Cemetery. Mr. Thompson died Thursday in Jackson, Miss. He was a native of Newellton and a veteran of the Korean conflict. He is survived by his wife, Nellie Louise Thompson of Newellton; four sons, Claude Bill Thompson Jr. and Billy Clarence Thompson, both of Newellton, Clifton Graham Thompson of Shreveport and Billy Wayne Thompson of Tallulah; one daughter, Elizabeth Reeves of Gilbert; three stepchildren, Dean Clark of New York and Rusty Bamburg and Angie Beard.
