Tice - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, October 25, 1979 Funeral services for John W. Tice, 84, were held Wednesday in Crothers Home in Tallulah with the Rev. Bringol officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr. Tice died Sunday in Orrville, Ala. after a long illness. He was a native of Henson County, Ark. and had lived in Madison Parish for 50 years. He was a World War I veteran and a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Roberta Traxler Tice of Tallulah ; two sons, William Mac Tice of Selma, Ala., and Ezra Earl "Buddy" Tice of Lake Providence ; four daughters, Dot Thompson of Lake Providence and Jean Hamlett of Orrville, Ala., Wilma Mangum of Vicksburg, Miss., and Hattie McCluskey of Tallulah; 15 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
