Tilden - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg (MS) Post, August 17, 2009 Thelma K. Tilden died Friday, Aug. 14, 2009, at River Region Medical Center. She was 92. Mrs. Tilden was born in Syracuse, N.Y., and moved to Vicksburg 40 years ago. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Bernice Chamberlain Kibler; and her siblings. She is survived by one daughter, Audrey Beverly Tilden of Canisteo, N.Y.; three sons, Eugene Lesley and Stanley Tilden, both of Vicksburg, and Charles Arthur Tilden of LaFayette, N.Y.; 15 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Fisher Funeral Home with the Rev. Francis Vriesen officiating. Burial will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Stanley Harris, Chad Dougherty, Clay Tilden, Edward Tilden, Timothy Tilden and Thomas Tilden. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Randy Easterling, Dr. David Halinski, Dr. Alan Arrington, Dr. Murray Whitaker and staff members of Sta-Home Health. .
