Funeral Services will be held at 3:00PM on Monday, May 9, 2022 in Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Betty Horn Todd, 92, who passed away on May 5, 2022.

Brother Luther Burney, of First Baptist Church - Lafayette, will conduct the funeral services.

Burial will take place in Christ Church Cemetery - Bastrop, LA at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 10, 2022.

Mrs. Todd, a resident of Denham Springs, was the daughter of the late Otto Horn and the former Olga Byram.

Betty was a member of Lafayette First Baptist Church. She loved helping to plan and decorate for the Joy Club, and she worked with the music ministry to make copies of music tapes with her best friend Barbara Moncrief. She also traveled extensively with her church group. She was a former president of her garden club, and always kept busy with a new craft or hobby.

Even when she developed dementia and moved to an assisted living community, she delighted everyone with her wit and singing.

The family would like to extend their thanks to the directors and staff at LaPlantation Assisted Living Community in Denham Springs, LA. Special thanks are given to Betty’s faithful and loving caregivers Anna Lee, Taylor Thompson Stewart, Peggy Mikell, Andrea Thompson, and Ella Kinchen.

She is survived by her sons, Robert B. Todd V (Keitha) and John C. Todd; granddaughter, Salena B. Todd; grandson, Robert "Robin" B. Todd VI; sister, Judy Horn Guillot; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Robert B. Todd IV; parents, Otto and Olga Mae Horn; and sister, Dona Horn Hutchings.

Observe the family requests that visiting hours at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 2:00PM until the time of service.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Baton Rouge or First Baptist Church of Lafayette.
