Tower - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, May 14, 1981 Services for Mrs. Gladys S. Tower were Sunday in Crothers Funeral Home with the Rev. Carl Xxxx officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Mrs. Tower died Saturday in Delta Haven Nursing Home after a long illness. She was a native of Wilkinson County, Miss., living most of her life in Madison Parish and was a member of Mound Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Clara Hodge and Mrs. Grace Folk, both of Tallulah; a brother, John Scott of Tallulah; a sister, Mrs. Mittie Wilson of Waco, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Great-grandsons served as pallbearers.
