Travis - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal October 28, 1998 Funeral services for Mrs. Lois E. Travis, age 74, of Tallulah, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, in the chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis Relaford officiating. Burial followed in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Mrs. Travis died Friday night, Oct. 23, 1998, in the Madison Parish Hospital after a lengthy Illness. She was born in Mississippi and had lived in Tallulah for 30 years. She was a housewife and attended Parkview Baptist Church. Mrs. Travis was preceded in death by her husband, W. G. Travis, and son Earl D. "Buddy" Travis. Survivors include one daughter, Susie T. Reese of Tallulah: three grandchildren: four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Molly Carrier of Dardanelle, Ark., and Wilada Long of Moro, Ark. Pallbearers will be James Rinicker, Tony Vincent, Bill Colligan, Tommy Guimbellot, Donnie Remore and Sonny Broadway. Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
