All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Carrie Tyner - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal January 3, 1974 Mrs. Carrie Tyner Funeral services were held Saturday for Mrs. Carrie Tyner who died Thursday g in the Mercy Hospital at Vicksburg after a long illness. Services were at the Tallulah Methodist Church, led by the Rev. David Corley and burial was in Providence Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. A native of Dakota County, Minn., Mrs. had resided in Tallulah for 43 years. She was a member of the Methodist Church and a member of the Eastern Star for almost 50 years. Survivors include her widower, Vernon E. Tyner of Tallulah: two sons, Bruce Tyner of Lamar, Mo., and John Tyner of Baton Rouge; one daughter, Mrs. Elaine Smith of Tallulah; one brother, William Felton of Cannon Falls, Minn.; four sisters, Ms. Helen Jones and Mrs. Marie Lorch, both of St. Paul, Minn., Mrs. Ester Klahr of Northfield, Minn., and Mrs. Viola Halh of Fairmont, Minn.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Manfred Gustafson, R. E. Fowler, Wayne Harkey, Myron Bailey and Charley Arneson.
