Tyner - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, May 16, 1985 Vernon E. Tyner, 94, died Thursday at a Vicksburg, Miss., hospital after a long illness. Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday at Tallulah First Methodist Church with the Rev. Larry Miller officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. A Randolph, Minn., native, Mr. Tyner had lived in Tallulah for 55 years and was a member of Tallulah First Methodist Church. He was a retired dairyman and worked at Chicago Mill and Lumber Co. for many years. Survivors include two sons, Bruce Tyner of Monroe and John B. Tyner of Baton Rouge; one daughter, Mrs. Elaine Smith of Tallulah; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Charles Arneson, Joe Reynolds, Freddie Gaumnitz, Merle Green, Harry Don Morton, and John Burchardt.
