S. Vance Dies Sunday In Atlanta, Georgia Mrs. L. S. Vance, 79, died in a nursing home in Atlanta, Georgia, Sunday afternoon. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 10:30 at the First Baptist Church, with the Rev. L. G. Conway officiating. Burial followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Vance is survived by three daughters, Mrs. L. C. Pearson, Alexandria, Va., Mrs. T. T. Tomey, Albuquerque, New Mexico and Mrs. Tom Waters, Winterpark, Florida; two sons, K. R. Vance of Terry, Georgia, and H. L. Vance, Atlanta Georgia. Mrs. Vance was a charter member .of the First Baptist Church. Pallbearers were, Rupert Harmon, A. H. Shows, T. M. Watts, Jim Parker, Robert E. Brown and C. E. Gross.
