All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Sam Vilardo - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal February 6, 1969 Services Held On Friday For Sam Vilardo Funeral services were held at 10 a. m. last Friday for Sam Vilardo, 72, at St. Edwards Catholic Church with the Rev. B. A. Scallan officiating. Burial followed in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Vilardo, a native of Cefalu, Italy, died unexpectedly at his home last Wednesday afternoon of an apparent heart attack. A retired merchant, he had lived in Tallulah for the past 43 years and was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Sarah Vilardo, and five grandchildren, all of Tallulah. Pallbearers were Jim Gilfoil, E. B. Towne, Wallace Luckett, Louis Tonore, M. C. Farlow and Sam DiTommaso.
