Wade - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal July 27, 1994 Services for Hassell D. Wade were at 1:00 p.m. Monday at Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church in Vicksburg, Miss., with Elders Mack Strange and Harry Burns officiating. Burial was at Flora Hills Memory Garden in Pearl, Miss., with Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah in charge. Mr. Wade died Saturday, July 23, 1994, at his home. He was 72. He was a native of Scott County, Miss., and had lived in Tallulah for 39 years. He was a retired insurance agent and a retired employee of Illinois Central Railroad. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of Grayson Primitive Baptist Church in Jackson. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Wade of Tallulah; one daughter, Mary Wade Cannon of Newellton; and one grandson, Christopher Cannon of Newellton; and one brother; R. J. Wade of Baker. Pallbearers were Nolan Huffman, Eddie Miller, Darrell Donahue, David Miller, Carl Tatum and Danny Cannon. Honorary pallbearer was Buddy Smith.
