All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Bonnie Sue Slacks Waldrop - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal October 7, 1998 Funeral services for Mrs. Bonnie Sue Slacks Waldrop, age 68, of Tallulah, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, in the chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial followed in the Delhi Masonic Cemetery in Delhi. La. Mrs. Waldrop died Sunday, Oct. 4, 1998, in the Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah after a lengthy illness. She was born in Newport, Ark., and had lived in Tallulah for 29 years. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Tallulah. She had been married for 50 years on Sept. 20. Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Ray Waldrop of Tallulah; one son, Allan Ray Waldrop of Baton Rouge; four daughters: Sherida Lester of Delhi, Paxxx Waldrop of New Orleans, Axxx Goad of Indianapolis, Ind., Marsha Schmidt of Baton Rouge, eight grandchildren: two great-grandchildren: her stepmother Sarah Stacks of Athens, La., one brother, Lewis Walker Stacks of Shreveport; and two sisters; Sarah Lynn Harmon and Xxxx Bishop, both of Athens. La. Pallbearers were R.L. Lxxxx, Fred Schmidt, Mark Singlexxx, Wayne Hall, Kevin Pinsonaxxx and Andy Howell. Honorary pallbearers were Xxxx Moore and Dr. L. P. Newman. Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah was in charge of arrangements.
