Walker Jr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Monroe Morning News-Star November 13, 1973 TALLULAH — Funeral services for Daniel E. Walker Jr., 56, of Tallulah were to be held at 3 p.m. today at the Tallulah Methodist Church with the Rev. David Corley and the Rev. Crawford Williams officiating. Burial was to be in the Silver Cross Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah. Mr. Walker died Monday at his residence following an apparent heart attack. Mr. Walker was a native of Crossett, Ark. and had resided in Tallulah for 50 years. He was a member of the Baptist Church, a veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Marion Lawrence Walker; a son, Daniel Lawrence Walker; a daughter, Miss Rhonda Ann Walker, all of Tallulah; a brother, Wallace D. Walker of Baton Rouge. Pallbearers were to be J. D. Caldwell, Stanley Harmon, Buck Reeves, M. A. Phillips, James Huffman and A. N. Guice.
