Wall Sr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, September 12, 1985 Services for George E. Wall Sr., 81, of Tallulah, were at 3 p.m. Sunday at Tallulah First Methodist Church with the Rev. Ramon Warren officiating. Dr. Betty Wall delivered a eulogy during the services. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery, Tallulah, under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah. He died Thursday in a Tallulah hospital after a short illness. Mr. Wall was a native of Canton, China and a resident of Tallulah for 47 years. He was the owner and operator of Golden Gate Grocery and a member of Tallulah First United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Wong Yate Wall of Tallulah; three sons, George E. Wall Jr. of Tallulah, Dr. Simeon H. Wall of Shreveport, and Dr. Leonard Wall of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; one daughter, Dr. Betty Jean Wall of Boulder, Colo.; three brothers, B. L. Yee and Wayne Yee, both of Dallas, and Johnson Yu of Lake Providence; one sister, Mrs. Ginnie Jong of Lake Providence; 10 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Buddy Yee, Wilson Tam, Henry Yee, Young Yee, David Mah, Arthur Lee.
