All rights reserved. ************************************************ Irene Walters - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, September 19, 2005 TALLULAH - Irene Walters died Saturday, Sept. 17, 2005, at The Olive Branch Senior Care Center in Tallulah. She was 74. Mrs. Walters was born in Pioneer, La., and had lived in Tallulah for 34 years. She was a retired retail sales clerk and was a member of Parkview Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.P. Walters, and a son, Robert Walters. Survivors include three sons, John Walters of Dunn, La., Jack Walters Sr. of Choudrant, La., and Jim Walters of Holly Ridge, La.; three daughters, Patricia Poole of Kansas City, Kan., Mary Patrick of Holly Ridge and Rhonda Walters of Tallulah; three sisters, Lyvonne Dulaney and Brenda Balof, both of Delhi, and Eloise Wright of Lake Village, Ark.; one brother, Modell Ford of Delhi; and 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Parkview Baptist Church with the Rev. Cletus Moak officiating. Burial will follow at Delhi Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the church. Pallbearers will be grandsons: Paul Bricker, DeWayne Bricker, John Williams, Jack Walters Jr., Mark Brown Jr. and Shawn Brown.
