Walters - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal December 11, 1991 Funeral services for Mr. Robert W. Walters, 40, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Gerald Nelson, Duewayne Tullos and James Johnson officiating. Burial was in Forest Cemetery in Forest. Mt Walters died Wednesday, Dec. 4 at a Monroe hospital. He was born in Delhi and had lived in Tallulah for 21 years. He was a butcher and a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Holly Ridge. Survivors include his mother, Irene Walters of Tallulah; three brothers, John Walters of Dunn, Jack Walters of Choudrant and Jim Walters of Tallulah; three sisters, Patricia Poole, Mary Brown and Rhonda Walters, all of Tallulah; his grandmother, Velma Ford of Delhi; 14 nieces and nephews and eight great-nieces and great-nephews. Pallbearers were Wayne Stutts, Robert Jobe, Tommy Jobe, Don Stanfield, Paul Stanfield, Paul Bricker, John Edward Baker, Ricky Brown, Layne McNabb and Hosey Lee. Honorary pallbearers were Raymond Stanfield and Lane Wilson.
