All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************* Bennett Cushman Watson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, October 9, 2010 NEWELLTON, La. — Funeral services for Bennett Cushman Watson, age 90, of Tallulah will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev. Larry Foster officiating. Burial will follow at Legion Cemetery in Newellton. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home. Mr. Watson died Friday, Oct. 8, 2010 at the Olive Branch Senior Care Center in Tallulah after a brief illness. He was born in Baker, La., and had lived in Tallulah for a year. He was a retired commercial refrigeration owner. He was a member of Jefferson Memorial United Methodist Church in Baton Rouge. Survivors include two sons, Ben Watson and wife Bobbye of Flower Mound, Texas, and Chester Watson and wife Shirley of Fort Collins, Colo.; four grandchildren, Glenn, Gary, Cinamon and Clay Watson; nine great-grandchildren, Savannah, Avery, Blake, Molly, Sean, Owen, Collin, Rainey and Caroline Watson; one sister, Helen Chamlee of Tulsa, Okla.; one brother-in-law, Bobby Joe Lee and wife Bobbye Ann of Tallulah; two sisters-in-law, Tommie Jean Leake and husband Sam of Newellton and Sheryl Gaye Kifer and husband Dan of Carthage, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
