Watson Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal January 13, 1950 Funeral Services for S. H. Watson Held Here Dec.30th Funeral services for S. H. Watson, 63, who died at his home in Waterproof, Dec. 28, were held at the Tallulah Methodist Church at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon, December 30th. Interment followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery. Mr. Watson was superintendent, of the Waterproof branch of the Chicago Mill and Lumber Company and had been an employee of the firm for 44 years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Grace Watson, Waterproof; two sons, Eugene, Tallulah, Max, Baton Rouge; two brothers, Charles, St. Louis, Homer Paragoud, Arkansas. Pallbearers were J. B. Massey, J. B. Halbach, John Holloway, Reginald Cannon, S. C. Alexander, and George Spinks. Honorary pallbearers were officials of the lumber company.
