Watson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, March 2, 1978 Funeral services were held Thursday for Mrs. Thelma K. Watson, 71, of Tallulah, at the Church of Christ with the Revs. X. T. Williams and Harold Xxxxx officiating. Graveside services were held at the Cemetery in Delight, Ark. under the direction of Crothers Home of Tallulah. Mrs. Watson died Tuesday at her home after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Delight, Ark., a resident of Tallulah for the past 45 years and a member of the Tallulah Church of Christ. Survivors include two sons, Walter W. Watson Jr. of West Branch, Mich., and Billy Don Watson of Vicksburg, Miss.; three daughters, Mrs. Myron R. Erwin and Mrs. W. M. Malone, both of Tallulah and Mrs. Gatha W. Norton of Birmingham, Ala.; one sister, Mrs. Odell Hughes of Delight, Ark.; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Billy Grady, Maurice Grady, Don Broadway, Gayle Beard, O. N. Williamson, Ebb Ferguson, R. E. Fowler and Jack Thames.
