Watts - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, July 6, 1978 Funeral services for Mrs. Eleanor F. Watts, 82, of Monroe, formerly of Tallulah, were held Friday in the chapel of Crothers Funeral Home with the Rev. Ned Stout officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery here. Mrs. Watts died Thursday afternoon in Shady Oaks Nursing in Monroe after a lengthy illness. A native of Mississippi, Mrs. Watts had resided most of her life in Tallulah and had lived in Monroe for the past seven years. She was a member of the Tallulah First Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Harry Watts of Tallulah and William Watts of Vicksburg, Miss.; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Crosby of Tallulah and Mrs. Martha Ayers of Monroe; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Don Calhoun, Bill Watts Jr., Mike Dunn, John Howard Watts, Freddie Helton, J. C. Byram and Elmo Rabb.
