All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************* P.B. “Pete” Weathersby Sr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, November 16, 2010 TALLULAH — P.B. “Pete” Weathersby Sr. died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010, at Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah. He was 69. A Mendenhall native, Mr. Weathersby had lived in Tallulah most of his life. He was a retired master sergeant, having served in the Army for 26 years and in Vietnam. He was also retired from Scott Tractor Co. in Tallulah. He was preceded in death by his parents, B.T. and Suzy Weathersby; a daughter, Rhonda Weathersby; one brother, Jimmy Weathersby; and one sister, Ruth Easterling. Survivors include his wife, Leona E. Weathersby of Tallulah; one son, P.B. “Pete” Weathersby Jr. of Vicksburg; three daughters, Betty Lynn Worrell, Jo Ann Johnson and Whonda Foreman, all of Tallulah; two brothers, James Weathersby and Tommy Weathersby, both of Flora; one sister, Frances Beachbord of Nashville, Tenn.; and nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Glenwood Funeral Home of Vicksburg with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 a.m. Wednesday until the service.
