Webb Sr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal February 18, 1971 Mrs. R. C. Webb Sr. dies Saturday in Vicksburg Mrs. R. C. Webb, Sr. died Saturday at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. E. E. Howard of Vicksburg, after a lengthy illness. Born in Vicksburg, Mrs. Webb, after her marriage to the late R. C. Webb, Sr., lived at Nil Desperandum Plantation at Delta, La. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tallulah. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. E. E. Howard of Vicksburg; a brother, Sidney Gramlen of Clarksdale, Miss.; six grandchildren, Mrs. John Hennessey, Miss Diane Howard, both of Vicksburg; Wyn Howard, of Dallas, Texas; Mrs. Terry Sutcliffe of Waco, Texas; Mrs. C, W. Grimes Jr. of Corpus Christi, Texas: Robert C. Webb in of Delta. Private funeral services for Mrs. Webb were held Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock at Fisher Funeral Chapel in Vicksburg with the Rev. William Willard Leggett III, pastor of Crawford St. Methodist Church, officiating.
