Mrs. R. C. Webb Sr. dies Saturday in Vicksburg

Mrs. R. C. Webb, Sr. died Saturday at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. E. E. Howard of Vicksburg, 
after a lengthy illness.

Born in Vicksburg, Mrs. Webb, after her marriage to the late R. C. Webb, Sr., lived at Nil Desperandum 
Plantation at Delta, La. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tallulah.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. E. E. Howard of Vicksburg; a brother, Sidney Gramlen of Clarksdale, Miss.; 
six grandchildren, Mrs. John Hennessey, Miss Diane Howard, both of Vicksburg; Wyn Howard, of Dallas, Texas; 
Mrs. Terry Sutcliffe of Waco, Texas; Mrs. C, W. Grimes Jr. of Corpus Christi, Texas: Robert C. Webb in of Delta.

Private funeral services for Mrs. Webb were held Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock at Fisher Funeral Chapel in 
Vicksburg with the Rev. William Willard Leggett III, pastor of Crawford St. Methodist Church, officiating.
