All rights reserved. *********************************************************************************************** Adeller Machen Welch - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post January 13, 2014 TALLULAH, La. — Adeller Machen Welch died Jan. 10, 2014. She was 83. Mrs. Welch was born Oct. 25, 1930, and was a longtime resident of Tallulah. She worked at the Tallulah Elementary School Cafeteria for several years. Survivors include a twin sister, Esteller Keenem; two sons, J. L. Thompson of Winnsboro, La., and Ronnie Joe Machen of Kelly, La.; four daughters, Agnes Hutto of Tallulah,, Elizabeth Ann Brown of Pinedale, Ariz., Linda Halterman of Tallulah, and Cherita Hellar of Greenwell Springs, La.; 18 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services at 3 p.m. today at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah, with Bro. Buck Curry officiating, \under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the service. Pallbearers will be Neal Horath, Donnie Frith, Ronnie Frith, Paul Machen, Ricky Lee, and Quintin Purvis.
