Westmoreland - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal February 26,1976 Funeral services for Corley B. Westmoreland, 75, of Sondheimer were held Thursday in the Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Crawford Williams officiating. Burial was in Providence Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Westmoreland died Wednesday afternoon in the East Carroll Parish Hospital in Lake Providence from injuries suffered when a tree fell on him. He was reportedly clearing land near Sondheimer when the accident occurred earlier Wednesday. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lottie Westmoreland of Sondheimer; six sons, C.B. Westmoreland Jr., Ogden, Utah; Bobby Randal Westmoreland, Shreveport; Ludia Westmoreland, Burney Westmoreland, Wayne Westmoreland and Johnny Burns, all of Tallulah; two daughters, Mrs. Delores Cole of Shreveport and Mrs. Doris Glass of Mound; two brothers, Harrison Westmoreland, Batesville, Miss. and B. M. Westmoreland, Tallulah; 10 grand-children and two great grandchildren.
