All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Lois Wheeler - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal August 9, 1946 Result Of Car Accident Mrs. Lois Wheeler, Who Worked For Dr. Allen, Victim Of Car Accident, Found Thursday Morning Mrs. Lois Edwards Wheeler, 28, was found dead as a result of a truck accident Thursday morning, August 8 two miles from Mound on the road to Delta Point. According to a member of the Sherrif's Department the accident apparently occurred sometime Wednesday night. She was driving a Ford truck, which belonged to her brother, and visiting her sister who was ill. A report, from Crothers...missing data...pinning Mrs. Wheeler under the truck, and resulting in her death. She is survived by three children. Other survivors are not yet available. The body is now at Crothers Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
