White - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal July 28, 1999 Memorial services for Mrs. June H. White, 80, of Tallulah were held Sunday, July 25, 1999 at the First Baptist Church in Tallulah, La., with Rev. John Rushing officiating. A private graveside service for her family was held at Silver Cross Cemetery prior to the memorial service at the church under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Mrs. White died Thursday, July 22, in the Parkview Medical Center in Vicksburg following a lengthy illness. She was a native of Clear Lake, Iowa, and had lived in Madison Parish for 60 years. She was a retired licensed practical nurse and a member of the First Baptist Church of Tallulah. Survivors include one daughter, Margaret Ann Shoemaker, Tallulah; one brother. James Edward Hetland, Amory, Miss.: two grandchildren, Rev. Eddy Shoemaker, Tallulah, and Kara Eltcr, Opelousas, La., and five great grandchildren, Anne Rose Shoemaker, Justin Elter, Dannielle Elter, Jesse Elter and Devin Elter.
