All rights reserved. **************************************************************************************************** Jerry Wayne White - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Baton Rouge Advocate December 19, 2009 Jerry Wayne White "Hippy" - A blaster painter and resident of Plaquemine, he passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer Friday, Dec. 18, 2009, surrounded by his family. He was 57 and a native of Tallulah. Visiting at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine, Sunday, Dec. 20, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting resumes at the funeral home Monday, Dec. 21, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by Frank Manguno Sr., pastor. Cremation to follow. Survived by three sisters, Mary Ann Sanchez, Louise Rineheart and husband Buddy Gaidry, and Brenda Kees and husband Bob; a brother, Bootsie White; and numerous nieces and nephews, including special niece, Nickie Deshotel, who helped with his care during his illness. Preceded in death by his parents, Lindsey Sr. and Belle Brown White; brother, Billy Ray White; and grandparents, Joseph Azenor and Mercedes Templet White and Charles and Mary Brown. He loved his dogs, Rella and Bambi. He enjoyed helping his family and friends and was a jack of all trades. Thanks to everyone who helped and participated in the recent benefit, especially Toups Oyster Bar and Grill for doing a spectacular job.
