Whitley - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal August 21, 1991 Funeral services for Mrs. Annie S. Whitley, 64, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Rushing and Rev. James Johnson officiating. Burial was in the Silver Cross Cemetery. Mrs. Whitley died Friday at Parkview Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Atlanta, Ga. and had lived in Madison Parish for 41 years. She was an employee of Delta Haven Nursing Home for 25 years and was a member of the Willow Bayou Bapdst Church. Survivors include her mother, Lottie Simmons of Tallulah; two sons, Albert J. Whitley and Cecil Whitley, both of Tallulah; seven daughters, Tinny Mosley, Linny Allen, Ann Coody, Etty Price, Gainelle Brewer; Ruby Freeman and Norma Jester; all of Tallulah; two sisters, Sara Kaughman of Anniston, Ala. and Brenda Manning of Alexandria; two brothers, Newtie Simmons of Tallulah and Jerry Lee Simmons of Vicksburg; 26 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Brady Kimble, Ray Jobe, Shane Seymour, Richard Marshall, Lamar Harris and Wayne Henderson.
