Wilkins Funeral services for Luke Alden Wilkins, 57 were held at 10 a. m. Monday at Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. John S. Hurt and Clark Bell officiating. Burial followed in Providence Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Wilkins died at the Madison Parish Hospital after a long illness. He was a native of West, Miss., and has been living in Madison Parish for the past 29 years. He was a millwright at Chicago Mill and Lumber Co., and a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Eula Land Wilkins, Tallulah; two sons, Johnny and Jimmy Wilkins, both of Tallulah; two daughters, Mrs. Sue Laminack, Garland, Texas and Mrs. Lou Ann Jones of Shreveport; four sisters and four brothers; and three grandchildren. Pallbearers were R. G. Waugh, Johnny Stocks, Reid Foster, and others.
