All rights reserved. ************************************************ Eleanor "Mamie" Green Williams - Madison Parish, Louisiana New Iberia (LA) Dailey Iberian November 6, 2003 Funeral services for Eleanor "Mamie" Green Williams, 70, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Baptist Church in which the Rev. Roland Fontenot officiated. Interment was in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation was from 5-9 p.m. Monday at David Funeral Home, which reopened at 8 a.m. until the time of services Tuesday. A native of Tallulah and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Williams died at 8:20 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003 at Consolata Nursing Home. Mrs. Williams was employed as a cook. She loved to read and do needlework. Mamie always enjoyed cooking. She is survived by her son, Charles Williams Sr. and his wife, Karen of New Iberia; her daughter, Teresa Williams Flash and her husband, Curtis of New Iberia; her sister, Shirley Jean Albert and her husband, Floyd of New Iberia; her brother, Charles Green of Meridian, Miss.; three grandchildren, Charles Williams Jr. and his wife, Brooke of New Iberia, Mike Williams and his wife, Emily of Houston, and Kimberly Laviolette of New Iberia; his great-grandson, Dillon Williams of New Iberia; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her father, W. G. Green; her mother, Annie Keating Green; her husband, Doris Williams and her brother, Sonny Green. Pallbearers will be Charles Williams Jr.., Mike Williams, Wilbert LeBlanc, Curtis Flash, Whitney Boudreaux and Floyd Albert. David Funeral Home North, Trotter Street, was in charge of arrangements.
