All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Lane Baird Williams - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal May 27, 1992 Funeral services for Mr. Lane Baird Williams, 36, of Baton Rouge, were held at 4 p.m. Saturday at St. Alban's Episcopal Church in Monroe with Rev. Guido Verbeck and Rev. J. Rayford McLean officiating. Burial was in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home. Mr. Williams died Wednesday at Oschner's Medical Center in New Orleans after a brief illness. Mr. Williams, a native of Tallulah and a former resident of Monroe, was a graduate of Tallulah Academy. He received a B.S. and M.B.A. from Louisiana Tech University. He was a certified financial analyst and at the time of his death, was the administrator of the Parochial Retirement System of Louisiana. While in Monroe, he was vice-president at Premier Bank. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Cagnolatti Williams of Baton Rouge; one son, Matthew Lane Williams of Baton Rouge; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Williams of Tallulah; one sister, Susan Stefurak of Marietta, Ga.; two brothers, Bill Williams of Tallulah and Lee Williams of Venice, Calif. Pallbearers were Mark Bodron, Bobby Eaker, Ray Flowers, Kirby Parker, Thomas Sale, Andrew Sevier, Mike Sevier and Reagan Sutton. Honorary pallbearers were the Board of Directors of the Parochial Retirement System. The family requests that memorials in lieu of flowers be made to the American Cancer Society.
